Michelle Kennedy

Michelle Kennedy – Assistant Coach

Assistant coach, Michelle Kennedy, brings her extensive experience and leadership abilities to bear when working with the cross-country and middle distance groups. A former top runner on Laurentian’s cross-country and track teams, she is now a graduate student in the Indigenous Relations program. Michelle also has a degree in Education and Indigenous Studies.

She was Laurentian’s top finisher at the CIS XC Championships in both 2013 and 2014 and has personal best times of 22:15 for the 6km in XC, 18:40 for 5km in XC and 10:08 for the indoor 3000m. She was also the winner of the 2014 OUA Community Service Award and a finalist for the CIS Community Service Award.

Although she has a hectic schedule, Michelle continues to train and compete in distance events and often runs with Laurentian athletes in practice.
