Kaitlyn Toohey (Tallman) Assistant Coach, XC & Middle Distance, Indoor Track

Kaitlyn Toohey (Tallman) has a wealth of competitive running experience.
A former OFSAA gold medalist in the 1500m in 2004 and bronze medalist in cross-country in 2003, Kaitlyn took her skills to the NCAA, where her Villanova University squad won the NCAA cross-country championships in 2009.
Kaitlyn continued her running career on the northern side of the border and won the Canadian Marathon Championship in 2018 in a time of 2:45:00.
The native of Mindemoya, on Manitoulin Island, and alumnus of Sudbury’s Track North Athletic Club has returned to her roots with a recent move to Sudbury and a position as occupational therapist with Health Sciences North.
With her wealth of experience, Kaitlyn functions as a consultant for both coaches and student-athletes on the Laurentian varsity team.
